What is CVE-2016-2046?
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the UserPortal page of SOPHOS UTM, enabling remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML by exploiting the 'lang' parameter. This flaw compromises the security of web applications by allowing unauthorized actions or data exposure in user sessions. Users of SOPHOS UTM versions prior to 9.353 must ensure they have applied the necessary updates to mitigate this risk.
