What is CVE-2016-2163?
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Apache OpenMeetings prior to version 3.1.1. This flaw permits remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML by manipulating the event description field during event creation. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive user data and the execution of malicious scripts within the context of the victim's browser.
