What is CVE-2016-2171?
A vulnerability exists in the User Manager service of Apache Jetspeed prior to version 2.3.1 that fails to adequately enforce access restrictions through Jetspeed Security. This security lapse allows attackers to exploit the inadequacies, enabling them to remotely add, edit, or delete user accounts via the REST API, potentially compromising system integrity and user data.
