Summary

The YARN NodeManager in Apache Hadoop versions 2.6.x prior to 2.6.5 and 2.7.x prior to 2.7.3 has a security concern where it can inadvertently disclose the password for the credential store provider to YARN applications. This vulnerability can allow unauthorized access to sensitive credentials, posing risks in the context of application security and data integrity within the Hadoop ecosystem.
