What is CVE-2016-3094?
The Apache Qpid Java broker, when configured to accept plaintext passwords, is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by making a specially crafted authentication attempt, which leads to an uncaught exception and results in broker termination. This flaw poses a risk to the availability of the messaging broker by potentially disrupting normal operations and access.
