Summary

A denial of service vulnerability exists in the IOCTL handling functionality of Kaspersky Internet Security's KL1 driver. This flaw can be exploited by sending a specially crafted IOCTL signal, leading to an access violation in the KL1 kernel driver. As a consequence, this results in a local system denial of service, allowing an attacker to disrupt the normal operation of the software by executing a program from user-mode.
