A local denial of service vulnerability exists in the window broadcast message handling feature of Kaspersky Anti-Virus software. By sending specific unhandled window messages, an attacker can cause the application to terminate, successfully bypassing the self-protection mechanisms of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
