What is CVE-2016-4359?

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the mchan.dll component of the agent in HPE LoadRunner and Performance Center. This issue arises when handling overly long inputs for the -server_name parameter, which can allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the affected systems. Specific versions ranging from LoadRunner 11.52 to 12.50 and Performance Center 11.52 to 12.50 are vulnerable, exposing them to significant risks if left unpatched.
