What is CVE-2016-4576?
A buffer overflow flaw exists in the Application Specific Packet Filtering (ASPF) functionality of specific Huawei devices. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to send crafted packets, which may trigger denial of service conditions or allow the execution of arbitrary code. This risk particularly affects the NIP6300, NIP6600, Secospace USG6300, USG6500, USG6600, USG9500, and AntiDDoS8000 devices running software versions prior to V500R001C20SPC100. Organizations using these devices should review the security advisories for recommended mitigations.
