What is CVE-2016-4960?

The NVStreamKMS.sys service component in NVIDIA's Quadro, NVS, and GeForce products improperly validates user-supplied data through its API entry points. This flaw can be exploited to gain elevated privileges on the affected systems, potentially allowing unauthorized users to execute arbitrary code at a higher privilege level, compromising system integrity.
