CVE-2016-4967
6.5MEDIUM
What is CVE-2016-4967?
Fortinet FortiWan, formerly known as AscernLink, prior to version 4.2.5 contains a flaw that allows remote authenticated users to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data. The vulnerability arises through two main scripts: 'script/cfg_show.php', which exposes backups of the device configuration, and 'script/system/tcpdump.php', which can leak PCAP files. This can lead to the potential compromise of sensitive information, posing a significant risk to network security.
