What is CVE-2016-4977?
In Spring Security OAuth versions 1.0.0 to 1.0.5 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.9, the processing of authorization requests allows the response_type parameter value to be executed as Spring SpEL. This design flaw enables unauthorized users to craft response_type values that trigger remote code execution, posing significant security risks.
