What is CVE-2016-5209?
A vulnerability in the bitmap manipulation engine of Google Chrome could allow remote attackers to exploit heap corruption by crafting a malicious HTML page. This flaw affects versions of Chrome prior to 55.0.2883.75 on Mac, Windows, and Linux, as well as versions prior to 55.0.2883.84 on Android. By leveraging this vulnerability, an attacker could execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application, thereby compromising system integrity.
