What is CVE-2016-5213?
A vulnerability in Google Chrome prior to version 55.0.2883.75 on Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms, as well as prior to 55.0.2883.84 on Android, allows for potential heap corruption. This issue arises from a 'use after free' flaw in the V8 JavaScript engine, often leading to unintended consequences when users visit specially crafted web pages. If exploited, this could enable attackers to gain access to sensitive data or manipulate the user's browser experience.
