What is CVE-2016-5821?

Huawei HiSuite software versions prior to 4.0.4.204_ove (outside China) and 4.0.4.301 (inside China) exhibit a vulnerability due to weak Access Control List (ACL) settings on the service directory. This weakness allows local users to potentially exploit the HiSuite application by utilizing manipulated DLL files, such as SspiCli.dll or USERENV.dll, which could lead to unauthorized escalation of privileges to SYSTEM level. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
