What is CVE-2016-6129?

The rsa_verify_hash_ex function in LibTomCrypt, utilized in OP-TEE prior to version 2.2.0, fails to verify that the message length matches the ASN.1 encoded data length. This oversight permits remote attackers to exploit the vulnerability, enabling them to forge RSA signatures or public certificates. By leveraging the Bleichenbacher signature forgery attack, attackers can compromise the integrity of cryptographic operations, presenting significant security risks.
