What is CVE-2016-6163?

The rsvg_pattern_fix_fallback function in librsvg2 version 2.40.2 is susceptible to a denial of service attack. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to manipulate SVG files in such a way that it triggers an out-of-bounds read, potentially causing the application to crash and affecting accessibility to the service.
