What is CVE-2016-6621?

The setup script in phpMyAdmin versions prior to 4.0.10.19, 4.4.x before 4.4.15.10, and 4.6.x before 4.6.6 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF). This vulnerability enables remote attackers to manipulate the server's request behavior by sending crafted requests through certain unspecified vectors, potentially leading to unauthorized access to internal resources or sensitive information.
