The NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver prior to version 342.00 (R340) and version 375.63 (R375) is susceptible to a kernel mode vulnerability involving the nvlddmkm.sys handler for DxgDdiEscape ID 0x600000D. An unchecked value from a user can be mistakenly used as an index to an internal array, potentially leading to a denial of service or escalation of privileges, compromising system security.
