What is CVE-2016-7390?
A vulnerability exists in the NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver that affects Quadro, NVS, and GeForce products. This issue arises from the kernel mode layer (nvlddmkm.sys) where a user-supplied value is improperly validated when used as an index for an internal array in the driver. This flaw could lead to a potential denial of service or, in some cases, escalation of privileges, allowing unauthorized users to gain elevated access to system resources.
