Summary
VMware vSphere Data Protection (VDP) versions 5.5.x through 6.1.x are susceptible to a vulnerability where an SSH private key is protected by a known password. This weakness could allow remote attackers to leverage the SSH access point to gain unauthorized login access to the system, posing a significant security risk to user data and infrastructure.
