What is CVE-2016-7784?

A significant SQL injection vulnerability exists in Exponent CMS version 2.3.9 and earlier. This flaw resides in the getSection function within framework/core/subsystems/expRouter.php, enabling remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through manipulation of the section parameter. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access to the database, data leakage, or corruption, thereby compromising the integrity of the affected systems.
