What is CVE-2016-7789?

An SQL injection vulnerability exists in the framework/core/models/expConfig.php file of Exponent CMS versions 2.3.9 and earlier. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands by exploiting the 'apikey' parameter. By manipulating this parameter, an attacker can potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive database information, compromising the security and integrity of the application.
