What is CVE-2016-7816?

The Kintone Mobile application for Android, version 1.0.6 and earlier, fails to properly verify X.509 certificates issued by SSL servers. This oversight allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof legitimate servers using a maliciously crafted certificate. As a result, sensitive user information can be intercepted, posing a significant risk to data integrity and confidentiality.
