Summary

A cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in the XML validator functionality of SPIP versions 3.1.2 and earlier. This flaw allows remote attackers to forge requests that could hijack the authentication of administrator users, enabling them to execute the XML validator on local files via specially crafted requests. Notably, this vulnerability can potentially be combined with another identified issue to execute arbitrary PHP code, increasing the risk to affected systems.
