What is CVE-2016-8639?
The Foreman Project has identified a vulnerability in versions of Foreman prior to 1.13.0 that could be exploited through stored XSS. This issue arises when an authenticated user can set an organization or location name, permitting the insertion of arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the web interface. As a result, this could allow attackers to perform actions such as session hijacking, phishing, or other malicious activities by executing scripts in the context of the user's session.
