What is CVE-2016-8812?

The vulnerability in NVIDIA GeForce Experience affects the kernel mode layer (nvstreamkms.sys) used in Quadro, NVS, and GeForce products. By providing specially crafted executable paths, a malicious user could trigger a stack buffer overflow, potentially leading to a denial of service or heightening their privileges within the system. This could significantly compromise the security integrity of the affected systems.
