What is CVE-2016-9126?
Revive Adserver versions prior to 3.2.3 are susceptible to a persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue arises from inadequate escaping of usernames in the audit trail widget visible in the dashboard after user login. An authenticated user with privileged access can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts, which may allow them to execute actions as administrators, leading to unauthorized access and potential account takeover.
