What is CVE-2016-9244?

A vulnerability exists in the BIG-IP virtual server configured with a Client SSL profile utilizing the Session Tickets feature, which is not set to default settings. This issue allows a remote attacker to potentially access up to 31 bytes of uninitialized memory. Consequently, the attacker could retrieve sensitive information, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) session IDs from other active sessions. Additionally, other sensitive data that may reside in the uninitialized memory may also be exposed, creating serious security implications for affected systems.
