What is CVE-2016-9435?

The HTMLtagproc1 function in w3m prior to version 0.5.3+git20161009 fails to initialize certain values properly. This oversight can be exploited by remote attackers using specially crafted HTML files, potentially leading to application crashes, especially when tags are involved.
