What is CVE-2016-9452?

A security vulnerability exists in the transliterate mechanism of Drupal 8.x versions prior to 8.2.3. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit crafted URLs, leading to a denial of service condition. By sending specifically crafted requests, an attacker could disrupt the service, impacting the availability of websites running affected versions of Drupal.
