What is CVE-2017-0151?

A vulnerability exists in the way Microsoft scripting engines manage objects in memory, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code on a user's system. If exploited, an attacker may gain user rights equivalent to those of the currently logged-in user, enabling them to take control over the system. This can lead to unauthorized actions such as installing software, modifying or deleting data, and establishing new accounts with full privileges, especially if the user has administrative rights.
