What is CVE-2017-0280?
A vulnerability exists in Microsoft Server Message Block 1.0 (SMBv1) that could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. By sending specially crafted requests to the SMB server, an attacker may disrupt service and render the server inoperable. Organizations using affected versions should take immediate measures to mitigate this risk by applying the latest patches and reviewing their security configurations.
