What is CVE-2017-11149?

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the Downloader component of Synology Download Station that impacts versions 3.8.x prior to 3.8.5-3475 and 3.x prior to 3.5-2984. This vulnerability allows remote authenticated users to exploit crafted URIs, potentially enabling them to access and download arbitrary local files from the affected systems.
