What is CVE-2017-11154?
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the PixlrEditorHandler.php file of Synology Photo Station prior to certain versions enables remote attackers to upload arbitrary PHP scripts. This flaw arises from insufficient validation of the 'type' parameter, allowing attackers to exploit this weakness for unauthorized code execution on the server. Organizations using affected versions of Synology Photo Station are advised to take action to mitigate risks associated with this vulnerability.
