What is CVE-2017-11309?
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the SoftConsole component of Avaya IP Office versions before 10.1.1. This flaw enables remote servers to execute arbitrary code by sending overly long responses to the client. When this response is processed, the overflow can overwrite memory, leading to potential unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
