What is CVE-2017-12096?
A vulnerability in the WiFi management system of Circle with Disney allows an attacker to exploit network connections. By creating a fraudulent Access Point that mimics a legitimate one, the device can be tricked into connecting to an untrusted network. This exploit requires the attacker to set up the malicious Access Point within reach of the target device and send a series of spoofed deauthentication packets to execute the attack, potentially compromising user data and privacy.
