What is CVE-2017-12255?
A vulnerability in the command-line interface (CLI) of Cisco UCS Central Software may allow a local attacker with authenticated access to execute arbitrary commands, potentially gaining shell access to the system. This issue arises from inadequate validation of command inputs, enabling crafted arguments to break out of the restricted shell environment.
