What is CVE-2017-12294?
A security flaw in Cisco WebEx Meetings Server permits an authenticated remote attacker to initiate a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input validation of certain parameters sent to the system's web server. By deceiving a user into clicking a malicious link or intercepting a user request, an attacker can inject harmful scripts. Successful exploitation might enable the attacker to execute arbitrary script code within the affected web interface, potentially allowing access to sensitive browser-based information.
