What is CVE-2017-12869?

The multiauth module in SimpleSAMLphp versions 1.14.13 and earlier is vulnerable to an authentication bypass, allowing remote attackers to circumvent authentication context restrictions. This occurs due to improper validation of user input, enabling unauthorized access to authentication sources defined in the config/authsources.php file. Users of affected versions are advised to upgrade to mitigate this risk and secure their authentication processes.
