What is CVE-2017-12959?
A reachable assertion abort exists in the function dict_add_mrset() of the libpspp library that could allow an attacker to initiate a remote denial of service attack on GNU PSPP versions prior to 1.0.1. This flaw could be exploited to disrupt service, leading to application downtime and potential data loss.
