Summary

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the ViewerCtrlLib.ViewerCtrl ActiveX control within the Avaya IP Office Contact Center prior to version 10.1.1. This flaw permits remote attackers to disrupt service through heap corruption, potentially resulting in crashes, or to execute arbitrary code. By sending a specially crafted long string to the 'open' method, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability, leading to significant security risks.
