What is CVE-2017-12980?

A stored XSS vulnerability exists in DokuWiki versions up to 2017-02-19c, where an attacker can exploit the software by injecting malicious JavaScript through RSS or Atom feeds. This is facilitated by the way DokuWiki renders content from these feeds, particularly in the author fields, allowing the execution of arbitrary scripts in the context of user sessions.
