What is CVE-2017-14049?

In BlackCat CMS version 1.2, a security flaw exists in the backend/settings/ajax_save_settings.php file, which can be exploited by remote authenticated users. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through the Website header or Website footer fields. Successfully executing this XSS attack can lead to unauthorized actions being performed on behalf of users, compromising the security and confidentiality of the web application.
