Access Control Flaw in MISP by The MISP Project
CVE-2017-14337
8.1HIGH
What is CVE-2017-14337?
A vulnerability exists in MISP versions prior to 2.4.80 that allows an unauthenticated external user to gain unauthorized access. This occurs when the system is configured with X.509 certificate authentication alongside a non-MISP external user management REST API. If a user supplies an X.509 certificate and the API fails to return a valid response, the system may erroneously grant access as an arbitrary user. This flaw can compromise the integrity and security of the MISP instance.
