What is CVE-2017-14919?

A vulnerability in Node.js allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by exploiting an issue in the zlib module. Specifically, prior versions of Node.js contain a flaw whereby an invalid value of '8' for the 'windowBits' parameter can lead to uncaught exceptions and crashes, impacting the availability of applications running on affected Node.js versions.
