What is CVE-2017-15055?

A flaw in TeamPass versions prior to 2.1.27.9 compromises item access control when requesting items via items.queries.php. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to manipulate requests, enabling them to gain unauthorized access to various item functionalities. An attacker could copy arbitrary items into their controlled directories, edit and delete items in read-only areas, and steal sensitive data such as passwords from the system. The vulnerability arises from improper request handling, particularly when altering the 'item_id' parameter to exploit the 'copy_item' functionality.
