What is CVE-2017-15252?
An issue exists in IrfanView version 4.44 (32bit) when used with PDF plugin version 4.43 that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code or create a denial of service condition through specially crafted .pdf files. This vulnerability is tied to a 'Read Access Violation on Block Data Move' during the processing of PDF files, potentially allowing an attacker to manipulate application behavior and execute malicious code.
