What is CVE-2017-15535?

MongoDB 3.4.x versions prior to 3.4.10 and 3.5.x-development contain a configuration setting for networkMessageCompressors that is disabled by default. However, if enabled, this setting can be exploited by attackers. Utilizing this vulnerability, an attacker may achieve a denial of service or potentially modify memory, creating significant risks for affected deployments.
