What is CVE-2017-15759?

A vulnerability exists in IrfanView 4.50 - 64bit specifically when used with version 1.3 of the BabaCAD4Image plugin. This flaw allows attackers to leverage crafted .dwg files to execute arbitrary code or potentially cause a denial of service. The issue arises from improper handling during the execution process, leading to a User Mode Write Access Violation near a NULL pointer, which opens the door for exploitation.
